Our vision is that all children and young people are able to go as far as their talents and potential allow them – creating strong foundations for positive change across the North Yorkshire Coast.
To achieve this we have prioritised the following 4 areas:
- Early Years: Children getting a head start in life through a high quality early years education.
- Maths: The North Yorkshire Coast becomes an area where children excel in maths.
- Literacy: A generation of readers who use the power of literacy skills and a love of reading to unlock future opportunities.
- School: A good secondary school place for every young person on the North Yorkshire Coast.
We’ve also identified 4 ‘critical enabling themes’ which support these priorities and are vital to the improvement of social mobility for children, families and communities in the area.
