Story: Congratulations to Castleton School where they have developed an outdoor classroom to help with learning and they have made improvements to their indoor and outdoor spaces and further improvements are planned.

Story: Congratulations to Danby CE School where they started a new well-being class, and where some of the children got the school garden ready for planting. They have also been busy planning school trips for later in the term as restrictions on day trips have now been lifted for schools.

Story: Congratulations to Filey Infants Academy where they recently received a red double decker library bus to help children read in an exciting environment.

Goathland Primary School

About: Congratulations to Goathland where they have a new outdoor area which would make great learning possible even though it isn’t finished yet. The children have also begun a science project on plants and made models and botanical illustrations of flowers to learn about the structures which make up the reproductive system

St Martin’s Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, Scarborough
Date of newsletter: 30/04/21
About: Congratulations to the children of St. Martin’s where each class took part in a “Mile Challenge” as part of a national event to encourage children to get active. The teachers thought it was great to see the children developing their stamina and they also enjoyed a “Celebration Assembly” to celebrate the success the teachers saw in the classes that week.
